Hey guys, today I'm going to talk about a song that I really like. It is Listen by Beyonce. This song was written by Henry Krieger, Scott Cutler, Anne Preven, and the Queen B herself.
This song was sang by Beyonce in her movie called Dreamgirls.

I think this song talks about someone whose life is being controlled by other people and she has never gotten a chance to fight for what she really desires. And through this song she is expressing her feelings on how she's going to start reaching for her dreams and how she's going to stop living in a way that someone wants her to live. Besides the meaningful lyrics, this song has a really nice melody and sound. The song starts in a low pitched voice and the pitch increases in the chorus.
I am currently a member of a Vocal Group in my school called KV3 (Kelompok Vokal 3). To get in the vocal group I had to go through the auditions first. And I actually sang this song in the auditions twice.
